This canvaswork piece is an adaptation of a quilt stitched in the early part of this century. Each tree is based on calicos from my collection of antique quilts and is a variation of the Tree of Life design. The design incorporates several different stitches including Mosaic, Slanted Gobelins, French Knots and Half Cross. It is an excellent piece for the beginning canvas student.

Beginner Skill Level

This is a delightful series of ten pins with charms; each one a different flower, including: Forget-Me-Nots, Bachelor Buttons, Keys to Heaven, and Holly Berries.

The pins are worked on 24-count Congress Cloth using Anchor and DMC floss. The charms are included with the book. These pins are quick and easy to stitch and make wonderful gifts.

Vines of Morning Glories twine over your canvas in captivating shades of Wisteria, Aqua and creamy yellow. The silk Perles used in this design are brand new hand-dyed silks from Artisan Yarns and are a delight to work with.
